Use of Site
You are under no obligation to use this site or to enter into transactions with Market Velocity, Inc.  Similarly, Market Velocity, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service, discontinue transactions, terminate accounts or cancel transactions if in its discretion it determines that a customer's conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to the public interest or to the commercial interests of marketvelocity.com. In no event shall Market Velocity, Inc. be liable in any way for any such decision or for the termination or cancellation of any order hereunder.

Delivery Terms
 Products delivered to you by Market Velocity, Inc. are F.O.B. point of physical shipment.  Market Velocity, Inc. will make reasonable commercial efforts to have products delivered to you according to the shipment term stated above, but is not liable for any damages related to mistake or delay in delivery, or for any action or omission of any carrier engaged in making shipment.

Comments or Reviews
To the extent that you may post any product reviews or other material on this site, you agree that Market Velocity, Inc. shall have a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive royalty-free right and license, with right to sublicense under such terms (the 'Implied License”), for any material that you write or contribute. You also agree to the use of any identifying information that you contribute, free from royalty.  Market Velocity, Inc. does not accept unsolicited ideas, such as ideas for promotions, brands, technologies, marketing or advertising, systems or the like. You should not send any such ideas to us unsolicited. The Company is continually conducting research and may be developing an idea similar to yours, and we must avoid controversy over the creation of a new idea or material. If you nevertheless send us material or ideas, despite our request that you not do so, you agree that Market Velocity, Inc. is not bound to treat this material or any ideas therein as confidential or proprietary, and you agree that Market Velocity, Inc. will enjoy an Implied License to practice any methods, processes or inventions or to use any ideas or materials so disclosed.

We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our site, you provide your name, e-mail address, credit card information, address, phone number, and password. This information is used to process your order, keep you updated on order status and communicate any special promotions or offers you have chosen to receive.

We may, from time to time, share aggregated statistics not linked to any individual about buying patterns, sales, and other shopping information with our marketing partners and suppliers.

Market Velocity, Inc. fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our service for illegal activities. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we reasonably believe to be unlawful or require further investigation. Also, we must of course disclose information that is required to be disclosed pursuant to court order, subpoena or other legal process (including any information required to be furnished in any civil proceeding to which you may be a party or for which you or your organization may be the subject of an information request, subpoena or investigative demand) and cannot be liable for any disclosure made by Market Velocity, Inc. in good faith due to or as a result of legal process or compliance therewith.

This site may contain links or affiliate relationships with other sites or companies on the internet that are owned and operated by third parties. You acknowledge that Market Velocity, Inc. is not responsible for the operation and content located on or through any such site and you agree never to assert any claim against Market Velocity, Inc. with respect to any transaction that you may execute or enter into on any third party site. You assume the responsibility for dealing with any linked site and for any transactions undertaken therein.

Use of Cookies
A cookie is used to store a customer's unique customer number so Market Velocity, Inc. may recognize them when they return to either review their quote or make another trade.  The cookie contains no personal data and is only recognized by the Market Velocity system.  The customer does not have to accept this cookie, but it will require them to re-enter personal information in order to review their trade or make another one.

Notification of Changes
If, at some point in the future, we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you via email. At that time, you will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner by responding to the message in the time communicated in the email (at least 30 days). In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our website notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post the notice, we will also email users who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.

Email Communications
This site does not use newsletters in any way.   The only email communications you will receive are administrative and will not contain any promotional, advertising and/or marketing information unless you opt-in for this type of communication during registration.  These will include, but are not limited to, a confirmation, shipping instructions, shipping reminders, proof of purchase reminder, product received and check mailed emails.

Co-branded Sites
Co-branded sites are websites that Market Velocity, Inc. hosts and manages for its clients under our client’s logo.  We gather and own all collected data, but share all personally identifiable information with our respective clients based on their disclosed policies.

Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, their information is protected both online and offline.

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information, such as a credit card number and/or social security number, that information is encrypted.  It is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL.  While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked or open, when users are just 'surfing'.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information offline. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password protected screen savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to regain access to user information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up to date on security and privacy practices. Every employee is oriented to our policies and the serious attention we give to personally identifiable information. Additionally, any time policies are changed or new policies are added, our employees are notified and reminded about the importance we place on privacy and what they can do to ensure our users' information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment, which utilizes state of the art security systems and procedures.

Log Files Usage
Like most standard website servers, we use log files.  This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movements in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.  IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Service Providers (and our information sharing practices)
We use an outside shipping company to ship orders and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
We partner with other third parties to receive and inspect your shipped product(s).  We only share names and addresses with these third party service providers that are necessary for the third party to provide these services.  These third parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/De-activating Personal Information
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/de-activate the user’s personally identifiable information.
